| In
addition to Sunday service, our membership and ministry are involved
with a number of different activities.
Missonary Work
The Missionary
Operating Committee (MOC) works to spread the word of the Lord.
Through their efforts, our Missionaries have brought Christ to the
Native Americans in the United States, as well as to people in South
America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
Ladies Circle
The Ladies' Uplift
Circle provides opportunities for today's women of the Church to work
cooperatively for the missionary and charitable needs of the gospel.
They do this by:
- Assisting The Church of Jesus Christ
in its Mission work, especially among God's Covenant People, the
American Indian, and also among the Gentiles.
- Promoting a close fellowship among sisters throughout the Church
by praying and sharing their problems and joys with one another.
- Attracting non-members of the Church.
- Providing wholesome, beneficial study of God's Word and
opportunities for meaningful service.
General Missionary Benevolent
Association - GMBA
The purpose of the organization hasn't changed much in over 100 years.
The GMBA promotes the spiritual welfare of the youth of The Church of
Jesus Christ. It provides opportunities for young people to
- assume
responsibilities
- provide financial
assistance for the Church's missionary efforts
- provide welfare
assistance for needy persons.
Sunday School
Prior
to each Sunday morning service, we study scripture through lessons
designed for various age groups. These lessons bring us greater
understanding of our faith, which brings us closer to the Kingdom of
Heaven.
